Old Jore over here was brought out of retirement due to the recent events regarding the Great General Strike of 2026. All government services were halted. No healthcare, no education, no police, no elections, nothing. A truly valiant effort to protest the actions of a godly Icarus who flew too close to the Sun.
It is important to understand that this protest isn’t just personal; this general strike is not against a person, but against the actions of one. Against actions that continuously break promises, made, according to many, only moments ago.
The people are angry. They are sad and frustrated. The server is suffering. The Workers’ Party of Redmont and everyone included in the strike have done an amazing job so far, wrench of the WPR with the proclamation, Juniperfig with her longest ballot. People are united, and they seem to want heads to roll.
Democracy is not only the rule of the people, but also a release valve. When elites get too “elite-ey” people give them a mirror through an election, and revolt and that is precisely what is happening now.
I implore you all to stay on strike; do not flee the Commonwealth. I implore End to think this through rationally. We want an apology; we want an end to the way promises are made and broken. Hunker up and stay with me! We sing a song of angry men today! And I am marching right there next to you all!
